Commander of the Argent Arrow

Gules, two palm trees couped trunks crossed in saltire, in chief a crescent-headed arrow fesswise argent.

Award Charter

I. There shall exist in the Barony of Atenveldt an award known as the Order of the Commanders of the Argent Arrow, which will be given by the Baron and Baroness, subject to the pleasure of the Crown, to those persons who through the years have made a major and continuing contribution in performing, promoting and teaching the chivalrous art of archery.

II. The holders of this award shall be styled as Commanders of the Argent Arrow and shall be entitled to place the initials C.C.A.A. after their names.

III. The insignia of the Order shall consist of a copper medallion pendant presented on a green ribbon, whose design shall be: Gules, two palm trees couped trunks crossed in saltire, in chief a crescent-headed arrow fesswise argent.

IV. Only individuals who have previously been inducted into the Order of the Argent Arrow as a companion of that Order shall eligible for this award.

V. Only two individuals shall be inducted into this order per calendar year.

VI. Members of the Order shall take precedence after Kingdom and Principality awards, but before Companions of Baronial Orders.

VII. Amendments to this Charter shall be made by the Baron and Baroness of Atenveldt after due consultation with the Crown.

VIII. Membership of previous recipients of this award is hereby confirmed.

IX. The Principal of the Order shall be the Baron. The Protector of the Order shall be the King. The Premier of this Order shall be the first person to receive this award.
