Order of the Palm Frond

Blazon:
The insignia of the order shall be, subject to the approval of the College of Heralds; argent, two palm trees, trunks crossed in saltire proper, and in chief a palm frond proper; displayed upon a silver medallion dependant from a white ribband.

Award Charter

  In Anno Societatis Thirty-nine, during the Reign of Their Royal Majesties Cravon and Ismenia during the stewardship of William and Dascha, Baron and Baroness of Atenveldt, there was created an award known as the Order of the Palm Frond.

 
 I.   There shall exist in the Kingdom of Atenveldt an award known, subject to approval by the College of Arms, as the Order of the Palm Frond, which may be given by the Baron and Baroness, to those who demonstrate a willingness to give ongoing service to the Barony of Atenveldt. 
 
 II. All recipients of this award must be paid members of the Society for Creative Anachronism at the time they receive the award. 
 
 III. This award may be given at any Baronial Event and an individual may receive only one Palm Frond Award.
 
 IV. The members of this Order shall be styled as Companions of the Palm Frond and shall be entitled to place the initials PFBA after their names.
 
V. The insignia of the order shall be, subject to the approval of the College of Heralds; argent, two palm trees, trunks crossed in saltire proper, and in chief a palm frond proper; displayed upon a silver medallion dependant from a white ribband.
 
 VI. Companions of the Order shall take precedence with armigerous Barony of Atenveldt Awards.
 
VII. The Protector of the Order shall be the King and the Principal of the Order shall be the Baron.
 
 VIII. Amendments to this charter shall be made by Baron and Baroness after consultation with the Crown.
 
IX. The membership in the Order of all previous recipients of this award is hereby confirmed.
